One full week home
It has been one full week home now for Connor. Life has been going fairly well considering a 7 pound baby has turned it upside down. Connor has some resemblance of a schedule and we will be working on ironing out the wrinkles in that over the next few weeks.
For the NICU nurses that read this blog....I now know what Connor sounds like when he cries. I also now know what he sounds like when he screams! I hate them both and you were all right, I am able to hear him just fine. Funny how Brian seems to sleep through it though.
Connor is still eating well and seems to really enjoy bottle time. I am hoping this translates into a nice weight gain on the 9th when we go back to the dr. I am hoping for 8 pounds but Grammy says about 7pounds 10 ounces. Anyone else out there care to make a bet???
Today Connor also seems to have discovered his cough again. The NICU folks will know what I mean. It sounds like he is going to cough up the biggest something ever imaginable. Connor is very dramatic when he coughs. He used to only do it when we were done feeding and burping but now he finds that if he does it in bed Mommy comes running. I am beiginning to think he feels it is funny to see Mommy so scared....
Love to you all,
A.

I can not wait to take Pimp Master Nephew C out on the jetskis and tear up the lake for a weekend. We need to give him a healthy diet of speed and fun. So when can we expect him down here in sunny San Antonio? =P We can take him to Sea World and edumicate (TX word) him on animals and such. Or am I just getting ahead of myself?
His cousin Alexis is going on the jetskis this weekend, does that make wittle Connor jealous? :-)
When are we going to have some of our extended Canadian family come to Texas for some fun int he sun loving? The Scharich home is always open to reservations.
