Children's Hospital Visit
Hi everyone,
Today we went back to Children's for a visit with the cardiology clinic. Connor was weighed and measured. He is 11.8 pounds and over 21 inches long. Connor had an echo as well and then was examined by the cardiologist. His doc said that every thing looks wonderful and there is no reason for us to go back there! YIPEEEEE So Connor has no need for Cardiology. He is good to go in that area. Praise God. I was so scared something would be passed from me to him but we have been blessed.
One crummy thing is that Connor has what we think is a cold. We are going to see Dr. Chad tomorrow to check it out. Connor is still have good O2 satuartion levels but he is coughing a lot and wheezy from time to time. He is still eating like a champ and smiling all the time as per usual. I just want to be on the safe side and get everything checked out and get him some help for his lungs if it is needed.
Some more super awesome news is that Connor is looking at his hands now!!! We have been waiting for about 3 weeks to be able to tell Ray Connor's OT therapist Connor is doing this and now this week he is but we have no OT because we had Children's instead. Oh well maybe next week something else will be even more exciting. Why is it important for Connor to look at his hands? I am not sure. But it is very important.
Other than all that life is pretty good in the Scharich house. Connor has been home for 82 days today (he was in the NICU for 97) and it is 40 more days until I go back to work. I moved Connor up to size 6 month sleepers now, what a big boy. We hope all is well in all your homes too.
Blessings,
Ali
PS Countdown is on to Christmas!!!!
