6 month shots and other great news!

Hi everyone,
Connor had his 6 month shots plus a flu shot today and he did great. he didn't cry until after all the shots where done, then he screamed for a bit but calmed right down again. So other than a flu shot next month and his monthly synagis shots we are done for shots until 9 months.

Next stop for Connor and I this morning was Dr. Chad. Connor weighed in at 12 pounds 8.6 ounces. He was weighed just last week at 12 pounds 4 ounces so he is a champ!. Connor also grew, he is 23.5 inches long now. For his age of 6 months Connor is also finally on the charts, just barley, he is in the 3rd perectile for weight and height but for his corrected age of 3 months Connor is in the 50th percentile for both. The docs don't correct him at NAS though but Chad lets me know where Connor is as a corrected age just to help me out, he is so good to us. The other awesome news from Dr. Chad's visit is that we don't have to go back and see him until Connor is 9 months and Connor can start to try applesauce! I have been warned that he will still get almost all his food from the bottle still which is fine by me but introducing textures is very exciting to me. Won't be long until he is asking for a steak and mashed potatoes!

Brian is heading out for two weeks and so are Connor and I. I will still try to keep the blog updated though and will post some shots of his halloween costume, you just know he is going to be the cutest thing ever!
